A fifth person has been charged in the investigation into the alleged murder of southeast Queensland man Michael Klaassen.
The 45-year-old woman from Chambers Flat, south of Brisbane, has been charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder.
Earlier on Saturday police charged a 32-year-old woman from Upper Mount Gravatt, in Brisbane’s south, with the same offence.
Both women are due to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Monday.
Police on Friday found a man’s body buried on a property at Logan Reserve, south of Brisbane.
The remains were fully exhumed on Saturday and are undergoing formal identification.
The body is believed to be 26-year-old Mr Klaassen, who was reported missing by his father on August 12.
Detectives on Friday charged a 24-year-old Jimboomba man with murder and interfering with a corpse, a 35-year-old Sherwood man with accessory after the fact to murder and interfering with a corpse and a 28-year-old North Ipswich man with accessory after the fact to murder.
The trio appeared in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Saturday where none applied for bail.
Investigations are continuing.
