One person has been seriously injured after a light plane crashed at an aerodrome in Geraldton.
Police, ambulance and fire crews were all scrambled just before 4pm (WST) after reports the small plane had crashed at the aerodrome near Moonyoonooka, 360km north of Perth.
A WA police spokeswoman said the plane caught fire on impact, with the blaze extinguished by firefighters.
One person on board was being treated for serious injuries including burns after being freed by police officers and firefighters.
Just before 4.30pm (WST), the police spokeswoman had no details about any other passengers on board the plane.
