A fourth person has been charged over the murder of a man whose body was found in a shallow grave south of Brisbane.

Three men have already appeared court charged over the murder of Logan City man Michael Peter Klaassen.

The 26-year old was reported missing last month and his remains were found buried in a shallow grave at a Logan Reserve property on Friday.

Three men appeared in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Saturday charged in relation to Mr Klaassen’s death.

Lawrence Carlton, 24, has been charged with murder and interfering with a corpse.

He was remanded in custody to a further mention hearing next month.

His co-accused, 36-year-old David Darlington and 28-year-old Matthew-John Kurk, have been charged with interfering with a corpse and being an accessory after the fact.

They were remanded in custody and will face court again next week.

And on Saturday night a 32-year-old Brisbane woman became the fourth person linked to the case.

She has been charged with being an accessory to murder and is due to appear the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Monday.

Mr Klaassen’s friends have described him as a likable person who was always on the move.

“The last time we heard from him was he rang us up to go see his new house. But, yeah, he never got back to us,” friend Chris Webb said.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
