A man has been charged over a fatal hit and run west of Brisbane.
Police allege the 31-year-old from Rothwell was driving a truck that hit a man at Booval on Saturday about 8.15pm (AEST) before driving off.
The victim, believed to be a 25-year-old from East Ipswich, died at the scene.
The driver has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death and leaving the scene of an incident without obtaining help.
He is expected to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Monday.
