Roads to close across inner Sydney (AAP) - ( 4U5TR4L14 )

Sydney motorists are being urged to avoid the city today, with cars expected to make way for 32 thousand runners.

Four marathon and fun run events are set to kick off at 6.15am (AEST) as part of the annual Sydney Running Festival.

The Transport Management Centre is warning that the harbour bridge and its approaches, including the Cahill Expressway, Warringah Freeway and parts of the Western Distributor will close from 4am (AEST) along with some roads in the CBD, Surry Hills and Pyrmont.

Roads in and around Moore Park will close at 6am.
